Lorena BritoAvailable for work

Hello, I’m Lorena Brito

Web designer & UX/UI · Macapá, BR

Let's talk
The person behind the work

I'm Lorena Brito (but you can call me Lori :)

Before I design, I listen.

I grew up watching my father paint banners under our house. Today, 7 years into design, I make brands, websites and screens for people who care for others, from a desk facing the forest in Macapá.

In our first conversation, I want to know:

  • How your clients describe their problem.
  • What they ask before they book.
  • Where they give up today.

The answers become the words and the order of the site's sections.

For Agnes Neuropsi, that became a clinical assessment explained in the words families use every day.

What I aim for: people understand what you do and know how to reach you.

02How I work

The heavy lifting stays with me.

How a project moves, step by step

I learn the businessAudience, offer and context
What needs to be saidClarity before aesthetics

AI helps me research, organise and produce at every step. The decisions stay human.

01Initiative

I come to the conversation with ideas.

You already have a lot on your plate running your business.

So when a question comes up during the project, I look into it and bring you a few options I've already thought through.

That way we decide together, with less stress on your side.

02

Every field needs its own way of speaking.

A clinic, a law firm, a tech company and a course creator talk to different people, in different ways.

A worried parent reads differently from a doctor with no time. I adjust the tone to the reader.

03

Clarity first, then aesthetics.

Looking good matters, but being understood comes first.

Before choosing colours, fonts or a layout, I ask myself: what does this page need to say? Who is it for? And what will that person want to do after reading it?

The visuals grow from those answers.

04

From design to a live website.

I want to see what we made actually in use.

When the project calls for it, I build and publish websites and landing pages myself.

So you're never left holding a finished file with no idea what to do with it.

05With AI

I use AI with care.

AI helps me research, organise ideas, explore possibilities and save time on repetitive tasks.

The important decisions stay with me, always with your context in mind.

That leaves more time to think about your project.

“If you ask why something is there, I can tell you.”

03Quick check

Does any of this sound familiar?

Tick the ones you recognise. There are no right answers, it's just a way to start the conversation.

If you feel something isn't working but can't quite say what, that's okay. Many projects start exactly like that, and figuring it out together is part of my job.

04Services

Where I can help.

Often, one thing leads to another:

  1. 01The brand shapes the website.
  2. 02The website shapes who gets in touch.
  3. 03The interface shapes how people use the product.

That is why I like to look at the whole picture, not just one piece.

Not sure what you need? Tell me what's going on in your business, and we'll figure out together where to start.

Organised delivery

Organised files, agreed timelines and close follow-up, so the project fits into your routine instead of disrupting it.

  • Agreed deadline

I also illustrate, and illustration can be added to any project.

Deliverables

What comes with your website.

  • Designed for phones first

Most of your patients will meet you on their phone. I design for that screen first.

  • Ready for Google

Title, description and SEO basics set up, so people searching for your service can find you.

  • WhatsApp and booking one tap away

WhatsApp, online booking and Google Maps are easy to find on every page.

  • Close by after launch

If something needs a tweak after launch, you talk to me directly, no middleman.

05Process

From first message to live website.

Five steps. You follow every one.

  1. 01

    Context

We talk about your business, your audience, your offer and what you'd like to solve.

  2. 02

    Direction

I organise everything we talked about and show you the direction I'm planning to take, and why.

  3. 03

    First version

You see something concrete early on, whenever the scope allows. That makes it easier to tell me what you like and what you'd change.

  4. 04

    Refinement

We review it together and I refine it carefully, within what we agreed.

  5. 05

    Delivery

Everything ready to use: the published site, organised files or a handoff for your team, depending on the project.

Typical timelines

Landing page1–2 weeks
Visual identity2–4 weeks
Website3–6 weeks
Product interface3–6 weeks

Timelines vary according to scope, feedback and project complexity.

06Craft

The details that make a page easy to read.

Small choices, but they are what keeps people reading to the end without getting tired.

Easy-to-read type

I pick fonts that still look good once the real text goes in, from the headline to the small print.

Just as good on a phone

Most of your clients will find you on their phone. I design for it first.

What matters shows up first

I use space, text size and the order of sections so people find what they are looking for right away.

Default

Your brand, the same everywhere

Colours, type and shapes organised so your website, Instagram and business card speak the same language.

From design to a live website

I build and publish it myself, so what you approved in the design is what goes live.

07Commitments

A project with no surprises.

I explain without jargon

If something isn't clear, I explain it another way.

Ask me anything, as many times as you need.

I take care of the details

If I spot a problem along the way, I tell you before it turns into a delay.

Nothing lands on you at the last minute.

You always know where things stand

I keep you updated on what I'm working on, why, and what comes next.

Everything agreed in writing

The scope, deliverables and timeline are defined before the project starts.

If anything changes, we agree on it again first.

Frequently asked questions

How do I start?

Send me a message through the form or on WhatsApp, telling me what you're working on and what isn't working right now. You don't need to have it all figured out. We'll look at it together and decide the next step.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope. Typical timelines are:
Landing pages: 1–2 weeks
Visual identities: 2–4 weeks
Websites: 3–6 weeks
Product interfaces: 3–6 weeks
The exact timeline is agreed before the project begins.

How does payment work?

Scope, payment stages and deliverables are agreed in writing before we begin. You always know what you are paying for and when.

What do I need to provide?

Whatever context you already have is useful: information about your business, audience, offer, references, existing materials or goals. But you don't need to arrive with everything organised. Part of my job is helping you figure out what actually matters.

Do you also build websites?

Yes. I build and publish the website or landing page myself. If you already have a developer, I prepare everything so they can work without guessing.

What if I already have a brand?

Great, we start from it. First I understand what already works, then we decide together what to keep and what to adjust. You don't always need to start from scratch.

Can you work with an existing team?

Yes. I can work alongside founders, marketing teams, developers, copywriters or other specialists. I take care of the design side and keep it clear and organised for everyone else.

For returning clients

Your next project starts with credit.

When we finish a project together, 10% of what you paid becomes credit for your next one: a new landing page, campaign pieces or changes to your site.

  • 10% of the project valuecomes back to you as credit
  • Valid for 2 monthstime to plan the next step

Beyond design

Design you can measure.

Before I touch any screen, I look at what already happens on your site today. After launch, you get a simple dashboard that shows where people come from and where they stop.

If something isn't working, we know where to start.

The 4 questions every business owner asks about their website

  1. 01
Did anyone show up?How many people opened my page this week.
  2. 02
Where did they come from?Instagram, Google, the ad I paid for, or out of nowhere.
  3. 03
Did they reach the end?Or did they give up before seeing the price. And which part of the page makes them leave.
  4. 04
Did they contact me?The one question every business owner asks twice.

With the numbers in hand, talking about the site gets simpler.
